Through the generous support of our community, partners, lightkeepers, and friends, we do make a difference in the lives of the women we serve. We invite you to join us! There are so many ways in which you can get involved and impact change.

To more effectively serve the Light of Truth Center (LTC) in your assigned position, orientation is required.

Once you read through the document please down the Service-application complete it and send to info@lightoftruthcenter.org; then click the “Start Now” button and continue your journey in becoming a vital part of our o rganization.

By signing on as a Light Keeper, you become a member of our team of professionals that proudly provide exemplary and love-based services to the women we serve.
All Volunteers are required to complete Orientation Training, after which they may begin their Light Keeper service.

We are an organization of “Excellence.” By obtaining Maryland Nonprofit Standards of Excellence' Seal of Excellence, as well as being CARF Accredited, all things are done – decently, and in order. We are held to a specific code of ethics and as such expect our Light Keepers to do the same.

If you enjoy working with individuals and being a positive source of love and understanding then we have the perfect service position for you. Serve in the role of Peer Recovery Housing Specialist (PRHS) or Recovery Coach, Workshop Facilitator, Office Admin, and so much more. Whatever you decide we would love to have you.

Workshops

Our Women’s Wellness program, SHIFT, (click here to read) is a new concept specifically designed to support our participants as they begin to grow in new areas of their lives. We recognize that sharing hope, inspiration, forgiveness and trust ("Shift”) provides a new way in allowing recovery to take hold. We also recognize that providing social interactions to build and bring out inner qualities and gifts, within the women, will also produce a "shift" in perspectives and behaviors.

Do you have a workshop that you would love to share with the ladies that uplifts, encourages, and empower? How about offering parenting skills? Do you have a special talent or art that would also do the same? Well, consider sharing your skills, art, talent, and time with women seeking a change in ideas, perspectives, and behaviors.
