Drug-Free Policy Statement
It is the policy of the Light of Truth Center, Inc. that shall create and maintain a drug-free workplace. Employees, volunteers (Light Keepers), or interns of the Light of Truth Center, Inc. shall not unlawfully manufacture distribute, dispense, possess, or use uncontrolled substances, and drug use is prohibited in the workplace. It is a condition of Light of Truth Center, Inc. to maintain employment or continue as a volunteer (Light Keeper) or intern to strictly adhere to Light of Truth Center's Drug Policy and Consent for Testing. Penalties for nonconformance shall result in disciplinary action. A conviction for a violation of a criminal drug statute must notify Light of Truth Center, Inc. no later than five calendar days after such conviction. The Addictions Counselor must be notified within thirty calendar days of a conviction. An employee, volunteer, or intern shall have access to treatment onsite or at another agency.
